Omnicom Media MENA has appointed Wissam Najjar as its Chief Commercial Officer, expanding his responsibilities as the media network implements a broader operating model across the MENA region.
The company announced the leadership development through a LinkedIn post, noting that the new structure is designed to bring specialist capabilities closer together and strengthen the way Omnicom Media MENA serves clients across regional markets.
Najjar has been associated with Omnicom Media MENA for more than four years and will take on the expanded commercial remit as part of the organisation’s ongoing transformation.
The company said the updated operating model will focus on improving collaboration between specialist capabilities and creating a more integrated approach to delivering value for clients across MENA.
Commenting on his expanded role, Wissam Najjar, Chief Commercial Officer, Omnicom Media MENA, said, “Scale only becomes an advantage when it is connected in the right way. By bringing our commercial capabilities closer together, we can move faster, apply expertise more consistently across markets and help clients unlock more value from their investments.”
Elda Choucair, Chief Executive Officer at Omnicom Media Group (MENA), said, “This is about raising performance expectations in a more demanding environment. As media becomes more complex, our role is not simply to manage investment but to help clients move faster, act with greater confidence and deliver stronger business outcomes.”
Najjar’s expanded mandate comes as Omnicom Media MENA continues to evolve its regional structure, with a focus on connecting expertise, improving operational efficiency and strengthening commercial outcomes for clients.
