Sitecore has announced the appointment of Mohammed AlThaher as Regional Vice President for the Middle East and Africa (MEA). In this role, he will lead the company’s regional growth strategy, strengthen partner ecosystems, and drive adoption of its AI-powered digital experience solutions.
With more than 20 years of experience spanning digital transformation, marketing, and artificial intelligence, AlThaher brings deep expertise in scaling regional operations and delivering enterprise solutions. His responsibilities will include expanding Sitecore’s presence across MEA markets, enhancing channel partnerships, and helping brands streamline content management while accelerating marketing performance.
AlThaher has built a strong track record of leading high-performing teams and managing complex customer engagements across industries such as government, financial services, and large enterprises. His leadership experience includes driving revenue growth, forming strategic alliances, and executing partner-led expansion strategies across diverse markets.
His appointment highlights Sitecore’s commitment to strengthening its regional leadership and delivering measurable business outcomes through innovation and execution.
“This position is pivotal for our customers, for our channel partners, and for our own aspirations,” said Goetz Reinhardt, EMEA President, Sitecore. “Mohammed ticked all the boxes in terms of his knowledge and experience growing businesses across MEA, his vision for how AI will transform the online experience, and for his focus on customers and what Martech can do for them. I’m delighted he’s onboard and leading our MEA operations.”
Earlier this year, Sitecore introduced its regional offering of Sitecore AI, a unified, cloud-native SaaS digital experience platform. The solution integrates AI-driven tools, content management, and data capabilities to enhance marketing efficiency. Planned sovereign deployments in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates will enable brands to create, personalise, and deliver content seamlessly across channels in real time.
“Sitecore is transforming how brands engage with their customers, and there is no more exciting place to be a marketer than in the Middle East and Africa,” added AlThaher. “From a complex audience landscape to a preference for digital channels and growing customer expectations when it comes to quality and service levels, marketers are being asked to do and deliver more, both for their brand’s reputation and business growth. Sitecore is here to enable marketing through our digital experience solutions, and that is what I and the team will be doing over the coming weeks and months.”
