PRCA MENA, the official regional representative for the Young Lions PR Competition, has announced the winners of the PRCA MENA Young Lions PR Competition 2026, following a highly competitive edition that showcased emerging communications talent from across the region.
This year saw participation from 27 teams, all working on a live brief in collaboration with Smart Life Foundation. Contestants were tasked with creating a comprehensive integrated PR campaign within a tight 24-hour timeframe, putting their strategic thinking, creativity, and execution skills to the test.
After a rigorous evaluation process, Alaa Arnaout and Jana Bunni from Dubai-based Gambit Communications emerged as the winners. Their entry impressed the jury with its strong insights, clear strategic direction, and high-quality execution. The duo will now go on to represent the MENA region at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.
Submissions were reviewed by a distinguished panel of 11 senior communications professionals, representing leading organisations and agencies across the region.
Commenting on the competition, Conrad Egbert, Head of PRCA MENA, said, “The PRCA MENA Young Lions PR Competition continues to play an important role in not only identifying and supporting the next generation of PR professionals in the region but also elevating regional talent onto a global stage.
