Gambit Communications has announced the appointment of Bassel Barakat as Senior Director, reinforcing its leadership team as the agency continues to expand its regional footprint and client portfolio.

Leadership Appointment to Drive Growth

In his new role, Barakat will oversee key client relationships and support the agency’s growth strategy across the GCC, with a particular focus on Saudi Arabia.

He brings over 12 years of experience across both agency and brand environments, with expertise spanning B2G, B2B, and B2C communications. His work has largely focused on building and managing brand reputation for leading organisations.

Extensive Regional and Global Experience

Prior to joining Gambit Communications, Barakat led external communications at Deloitte Middle East, where he managed integrated campaigns, thought leadership initiatives, and crisis communications.

Throughout his career, he has worked with a diverse portfolio of global and regional clients, including Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Ferrari, Saudi Esports Federation, Coca-Cola, to name a few.
