Shangri-La Jeddah has announced the appointment of Lina Khan as its new Director of Marketing and Communications, further strengthening the hotel’s leadership team as it continues to expand its presence within Saudi Arabia’s luxury hospitality sector.
In her new position, Khan will oversee the hotel’s marketing, communications, public relations, and brand strategy functions, supporting Shangri-La Jeddah’s ongoing efforts to enhance its reputation as one of the city’s premier luxury hospitality destinations.
A Jeddah native, Khan brings extensive experience across luxury hospitality, corporate communications, brand management, and lifestyle marketing. Her international outlook has been shaped through MBA studies at the University of Dallas, academic experiences in both Italy and the United States, and consulting assignments with organizations in the U.S.

Throughout her career, Khan has held key marketing and communications positions with several prominent organizations, including Nadec Foods, McDonald’s Saudi Arabia, Fairmont Riyadh, Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh, and Park Hyatt Jeddah.
Her expertise spans integrated marketing, digital communications, public relations, brand development, stakeholder engagement, and storytelling strategies designed to elevate guest experiences and strengthen brand perception.
Khan has also successfully led campaigns and initiatives for a wide range of food and beverage outlets, luxury events, wedding showcases, and lifestyle activations. Her portfolio includes collaborations with internationally renowned brands such as Piaget, Lamborghini, Tom Ford, Bobbi Brown, and Pierre Hermé, alongside premium dining experiences showcased during Riyadh Season.
Combining experience in luxury hospitality, corporate branding, and lifestyle-driven marketing, Khan brings a comprehensive perspective to the role. Her passion for fashion, fine dining, sustainability, and luxury experiences further complements her approach to creating memorable and meaningful brand engagements.
Her appointment comes during a period of sustained growth for Shangri-La Jeddah as the property continues to build on its reputation for exceptional service, award-winning dining experiences, and its sought-after location along the Jeddah Waterfront.
