Omnicom Media Retains Uber’s Global Media Business, Expands Brazil and Sports Marketing Remit

Omnicom Media has successfully retained Uber’s global media business across several key international markets, reinforcing its long-standing partnership with the ridesharing company. The renewed mandate follows a competitive agency review conducted during the second quarter of 2026.

Under the renewed agreement, Omnicom Media will continue to manage media planning and buying for Uber across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. PHD will remain the lead agency supporting Uber’s media operations across these regions.

As part of the expanded partnership, Omnicom Media has also secured additional responsibilities in Brazil while adding Uber’s sports marketing portfolio to its scope of work, further strengthening the agency’s role in supporting the brand’s global marketing initiatives.

The media review, which concluded after a competitive pitch process, saw participation from both Omnicom Media and WPP. Following the evaluation, Uber chose to continue its relationship with Omnicom Media while broadening the agency’s responsibilities.
