MEPRA Youth Board Announces New Leadership Team

The Middle East Public Relations Association has unveiled its Youth Board leadership for the 2026–2028 term, appointing Tania Kteily, Associate Director at Weber Shandwick MENAT, as President.

Supporting her in the leadership team is Yara Hamdan, Communication Consultant at Disney+ MENA via HAVAS Red Middle East, who has been named Vice President. The board has also welcomed two new members, Tala Majzoub and Dalia Alqadhi, further strengthening its leadership.

The MEPRA Youth Board functions as an advisory group that connects emerging talent with experienced industry professionals. Through mentorship, knowledge-sharing, and industry-driven initiatives, it aims to create clearer entry pathways into the communications sector while helping young professionals better understand and navigate the field.

Working in close coordination with MEPRA’s Executive and Strategy Boards, the newly appointed leadership team will drive initiatives that support the Youth Board’s mission and expand opportunities for the next generation of PR practitioners.

Kteily said, “The next generation of PR practitioners is designing the future of our industry. As our field evolves faster than ever, and as we navigate uncertain times, connecting established and emerging perspectives has never been more important.”

She added, “I’m incredibly proud to work alongside this A-team of award-winning young leaders to help bridge the gap between fresh talent and industry veterans. Over the next couple of years, we’ll be offering mentorship in different formats, building on our own experiences and ensuring young talent is heard at the highest levels of our industry. I’m also very happy to have Yara Hamdan by my side as Vice President and to welcome the incredible Tala Majzoub and Dalia Alqadhi to our team. Together, we will aim to demystify public relations and highlight the many opportunities it offers. We have a lot in store, and I can’t wait to share more.”

Majzoub and Alqadhi join the board following their recognition at the MEPRA Awards 2025. Majzoub, Communications Manager at HAVAS Red Middle East, received the ‘Dave Robinson Outstanding Young Communicator of the Year’ award, while Alqadhi, Associate Manager at Weber Shandwick MENAT, was highly commended in the same category.

Membership to the Youth Board is exclusively offered to young professionals who achieve such recognition, following a two-stage selection process that includes an interview evaluated by industry leaders.

The board comprises members from prominent organisations including Weber Shandwick MENAT, HAVAS Red Middle East, Disney+, Abu Dhabi Investment Council, Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi, Gambit Communications, National Health Insurance Company – Daman, and Uber.
