Memac Ogilvy has promoted Yasser Hamdy to Managing Partner of its public relations business, strengthening its leadership team as the agency continues to expand its integrated communications capabilities across the Middle East.
In his new position, Hamdy will be based in Dubai and lead the agency’s PR operations, overseeing client relationships and communications programmes across major regional accounts. His remit will include providing strategic counsel to senior stakeholders across global, regional and government organisations.
Hamdy has spent more than seven years with Memac Ogilvy, taking on leadership responsibilities across Dubai and markets throughout the Middle East. His regional experience includes work across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Egypt.
Prior to joining Ogilvy, Hamdy held senior roles at PR consultancy BLJ Worldwide and communications agency Grey Group in Qatar, building experience across strategic communications and client advisory.
