WPP Media MENA Names Ralph Khoury as Chief Financial Officer

WPP Media MENA has announced the appointment of Ralph Khoury as its Chief Financial Officer, reinforcing the network’s focus on strong financial stewardship as it advances its transformation into a fully integrated, AI-powered media organization.

Khoury brings over 25 years of senior financial leadership experience across the telecommunications, advertising, and media sectors, having worked across four continents. His extensive understanding of the Middle East has been shaped by more than 15 years in the region, where he led major financial transformation initiatives for TBWA\RAAD Middle East and Omnicom Media Group MENA.

In his new role, Khoury will report to Amer El Hajj, CEO of WPP Media MENA, with finance teams across the region reporting into him. He will be based out of the company’s Dubai office.

“Ralph’s appointment comes at exactly the right time,” said Amer El Hajj, CEO of WPP Media MENA.We’re fundamentally reshaping how we create value for clients through AI and integrated solutions. With 17 years navigating this region’s complexity as a CFO, Ralph brings the financial rigor and strategic thinking we need to execute at scale. I’m confident he’ll drive the smart investments that accelerate this transformation.”

Most recently, Khoury served as CFO for Nissan United across Africa, the Middle East, India, Europe, and Oceania (AMIEO), where he managed complex financial structures within a fully integrated agency model. This experience closely aligns with WPP Media’s ambition to unify media, data, creative, and production capabilities.

His earlier leadership roles across the Omnicom and TBWA networks in the Middle East and North Africa further highlight his ability to steer financial strategy across diverse and fast-evolving markets.

At WPP Media MENA, Khoury will play a critical role in supporting sustainable growth and maximizing value for clients. His responsibilities will include strengthening agile financial frameworks, guiding investments into AI-powered solutions, advancing measurement capabilities, and building future-ready talent across the organization — all underpinned by WPP Open, the company’s AI-enabled marketing system.

I’m excited to join WPP Media MENA at such a transformative time. The launch of our fully integrated, AI-powered identity isn’t just a new chapter; it’s a fundamental shift in how we create value for our clients. My vision is to curate and adapt the financial strategy that is as agile and forward-thinking as our business, steering strategic investments towards our AI capabilities, our world-class talent, and the integrated solutions that will drive sustainable and meaningful growth for our partners, and build on the success that WPP Media MENA has achieved in recent years,” Khoury said.

He added, “Having lived and breathed the Middle East’s incredible evolution for over 17 years, I am confident that by aligning our financial and operational goals, we will unlock unprecedented opportunities in this intelligent era. I am thrilled to be able partner with Amer, the leadership team, and everyone at WPP Media to help build that future.”
