Featuring custom-designed delivery boxes built to fit one order only, the campaign makes the direct delivery promise instantly visible and understood across Abu Dhabi’s streets.
While dedicated delivery has been a core part of Careem Food’s operations in Abu Dhabi, the campaign addresses a common customer frustration: cold, delayed food that results from batched deliveries. This insight pushed the brand towards highlighting a delivery journey that treats food with care. Each Careem Food order is picked up and delivered directly to the customer with no additional stops, ensuring faster delivery times and food that arrives hot and fresh.

The campaign launched with Careem Captains taking over Abu Dhabi’s streets in the bespoke delivery boxes, sparking curiosity and conversation. The message “One order. One Captain. One delivery” has been amplified across outdoor advertising, digital platforms, social media, CRM touchpoints, and the in-app journey, creating millions of views and consistent brand experience across all customer interactions.
By redesigning Careem’s iconic delivery boxes specifically for this campaign, the brand transformed a routine operational detail into a talking point, making no-batching impossible to ignore whether in traffic, outside restaurants, or at the customer’s door.
Careem Food continues to expand across Abu Dhabi, now offering more than 5000 restaurant options including local favorites like Al Farah, Gazebo, Bait El Khetyar, Huff & Puff, and more, along with popular chains like Burger King, Five Guys, and Papa Johns. With Abu Dhabi’s layout spanning distinct neighborhoods from Khalifa City to Yas Island, direct delivery eliminates the extended wait times that come from batching orders across multiple zones.
Careem uses proximity-based dispatch technology to match each order with the nearest available Captain. Customers can track their Captain’s route in real-time through the Careem app and verify the direct path from the restaurant to their door.
