Ruder Finn Group Expands MENA Presence with Launch of RF Thunder

The Ruder Finn group has unveiled RF Thunder, a new insights-led communications consultancy designed to support fast-growing businesses, challenger brands, and SMEs across the Middle East and North Africa region.

The launch represents a significant step in the group’s regional expansion strategy, aimed at addressing the evolving needs of businesses operating in one of the world’s fastest-transforming economic environments. As governments across the MENA region continue to drive diversification initiatives and innovation-focused policies, SMEs and emerging companies are increasingly seeking agile communications partners capable of supporting rapid growth and market expansion.

To lead the newly launched agency, Bianca Riley has been appointed General Manager. She will oversee the agency’s operations and growth strategy across the region.

RF Thunder has been established as a momentum-focused consultancy that helps organisations strengthen market positioning, improve brand visibility, and turn business strategy into measurable communication outcomes. The agency aims to offer flexible, high-impact solutions tailored to businesses navigating accelerated growth cycles.

“Having been in the region for over a decade, we have seen client needs evolve faster than ever. Aligned with Ruder Finn’s tradition of helping clients move from what’s now to What’s Next, RF Thunder marks an important milestone in that journey,” said Sophie Simpson.

Operating under the Ruder Finn group, RF Thunder will complement the company’s long-term integrated communications services by delivering digitally driven campaigns and strategic support through a more agile, project-led model. The consultancy is designed to provide businesses with access to senior expertise, integrated communications capabilities, and data-led execution without relying on traditional long-term engagement structures.

“What sets RF Thunder apart is its ability to deliver speed and agility to meet ambitious organizations exactly where they are in their growth journey,” said Simpson.

RF Thunder’s service offerings include strategic storytelling, digital marketing, creative production, brand experiences, and insight intelligence powered by analytics and real-time data.

Commenting on the launch, Riley said: “The way brands are built today has fundamentally shifted. SMEs, founders, and new market entrants must establish presence, credibility, and momentum simultaneously. Communications can’t follow growth; it must enable it from the outset. RF Thunder understands that and aims to deliver results from the get-go, with engagement models designed for maximum impact at every stage of growth.”

The introduction of RF Thunder further strengthens Ruder Finn’s footprint in the MENA region and reflects the growing demand for agile communications strategies that align with today’s fast-moving business environment.
