Nouran Hassan has joined Snap as Head of Communications for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and Asia-Pacific (APAC), transitioning from Spotify, where she spent nearly eight years.
Hassan shared the news of her appointment on LinkedIn, marking a new professional chapter following her long association with the music streaming platform.
Reflecting on her time at Spotify, Hassan said the experience had given her “incredible memories, invaluable experiences” and expressed gratitude for the colleagues and people she worked with throughout her tenure.
In her new role at Snap, Hassan will oversee communications across the MENA and APAC regions. She also expressed enthusiasm about collaborating with Snap’s teams, exchanging ideas, challenging boundaries and exploring new opportunities.
The appointment comes as Snap continues to expand its presence across international markets. Regional communications will remain important to the company’s engagement with consumers, creators, advertisers and other stakeholders.
