M+C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment Middle East has appointed Scott Grayston as PR & Comms Director, reinforcing its senior leadership team during a period of expansion. The move follows the Group’s acquisition of DUNE | 23 and reflects continued investment in its integrated communications capabilities.
Grayston will enhance the agency’s regional presence across sport, culture, entertainment and major event communications. With over 12 years of experience in sports media and communications across the Middle East, his background spans journalism, brand partnerships, content development and global sporting events.
“Scott brings a genuine depth of experience, credibility and relationships across the region’s sports and media ecosystem.,” said Lloyd McMillan, Managing Director, M+C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment Middle East.
“He understands the pace of culture here and how to turn brand activity into stories that earn attention.”
Grayston joins from 160over90, where he directed communications strategy for DP World and the DP World Tour. His remit included integrated campaigns around premier tournaments such as the DP World Tour Championship, Open de France and Korea Championship. He also supported initiatives like ‘Second Life Container’ and ‘Beyond Boundaries’, travelling to India, Kenya and Namibia to promote grassroots sports participation.
His portfolio extends to collaborations with Visa and Mubadala Investment Company, including campaigns linked to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. Grayston has additionally worked across properties such as Formula One, SailGP, Indian Premier League, International League T20 and ICC events. Earlier in his career, he worked as a multimedia journalist and editor at Sport360 and Worldwide Golf, interviewing leading athletes and producing in-depth feature content.
“As our portfolio continues to grow and diversify across sports, culture and entertainment, Scott’s leadership will help us unlock even more impactful and meaningful work for our clients. We’re delighted to welcome him to the team,” McMillan said.
In his new role, Grayston will lead PR strategy and execution across an expanding client roster, collaborating closely with Amanda Fox-Pryke, who oversees client operations and marcomms strategy. Together, they will further strengthen the agency’s communications offering across large-scale projects and high-profile brands.
“The GCC has been home for more than a decade, and this region is one of the most exciting places in the world right now for our industry. M+C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment has a clear vision and momentum, especially following the merger,” said Grayston on his appointment.
“I’m looking forward to working closely with our clients and partners to create work that resonates locally and travels globally,” he said. The appointment underscores the agency’s continued growth trajectory in the Middle East, supported by the wider M+C Saatchi Group network.
