Mars Promotes Mahmoud Maghraby to Media Director for AMEA Region

Mars has announced the promotion of Mahmoud Maghraby to the position of Media Director for the Asia, Middle East and Africa (AMEA) region, expanding his leadership responsibilities across key international markets.

Before stepping into the new role, Maghraby served as Media Director for the Middle East, Africa and Global Emerging Markets, where he oversaw media strategy and regional planning initiatives.

During his nearly five-year tenure at Mars, he has played a significant role in shaping media operations and strategic alignment across multiple geographies, including India, Asia, Latin America and Australia. His expertise spans integrated media planning, cross-market collaboration, and strategic business leadership.

Prior to joining Mars, Maghraby held the position of Client Managing Director and Head of Strategy for MENA at EssenceMediacom. Earlier in his career, he spent close to eight years at Starcom, managing major accounts such as Procter & Gamble, Mars and GSK.

With this elevation, Mars continues to strengthen its regional leadership structure as it focuses on driving media innovation and strategic growth across the AMEA region.
