Jeep Unveils 7 Wonders of the UAE Chosen by the People

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 17 December 2026: In celebration of the United Arab Emirates’ 54th National Day, Jeep® brand is launching “The 7 Wonders of the UAE”, the results of a nationwide search to uncover the country’s most awe-inspiring landmarks, from natural gems to historic sites and modern architectural icons.

The campaign invited residents and visitors to nominate the places that move them and capture the UAE’s unique blend of heritage and progress. The response was overwhelming with nominations from every corner of the country, each reflecting a deep connection to the land and its stories.

“The idea was born from a shared symbolism: Jeep’s legendary seven-slot grille and the seven United Arab Emirates,” explains Yara Maroun, Head of Marketing at Jeep Middle East. “Both represent heritage, endurance, unity, and the pursuit of adventure. And both, in their own way, are built on the spirit of discovery.”

After a two-week search, the Jeep brand has collated the most mentioned locations and now proudly unveils the 7 Wonders of the UAE: a tribute to the nation’s beauty, diversity, and boundless ambition.

The final list, in no particular order, spans across the Emirates:

  • Rub’ al Khali –  A mythical expanse of endless, untouched and untamed dunes. Home to the infamous Desert Trap sand bowl.
  • Mangrove National Park, Abu Dhabi – A protected area representing nearly 75% of the nation’s mangrove forests and a sanctuary where flamingos, herons, and marine life thrive.
  • Al Wathba Fossil Dunes – Over 7,000 natural sand sculptures, made of hardened minerals, carved by wind and time, with some of the fossils dating back 120,000 years.
  • Mleiha Archaeological Centre – One of the oldest inhabited areas in the Arabian Peninsula, with evidence of nomadic human activity dating back over 130,000 years from the Paleolithic era through the Bronze Age, Iron Age, and pre-Islamic period. Key discoveries include stone tools, tombs, pre-Islamic forts and watchtowers, ancient horse and camel graves, coins and pottery.
  • Cultural Sites of Al Ain – A UNESCO World Heritage Site and the UAE’s oldest continuously inhabited landscape. Home to 4,000 years of civilization. Here stand the 500 breathtaking Jebel Hafeet Tombs, the earliest evidence of organized human settlement in the Emirates, and Al Muwaiji Fort, the administrative base of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Father of the Nation.
  • Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque – An architectural and cultural masterpiece representing the spiritual heart of the nation.
  • Burj Khalifa – The tallest building on Earth. A beacon of ambition and human achievement, and the perfect reflection of the UAE’s unstoppable rise toward the future.

“The UAE is a land of endless wonders” said Anton Marais and Pablo Tesio, Senior and Associate Creative Directors at Publicis Middle East. “The perception of the outside world is often that the UAE only consists of deserts and shining cities. With this campaign, Jeep proudly celebrates a diverse nation that emboldens its love for discovery. From desert to sea, from the ancient to the modern, the 7 Wonders of the UAE are proof that adventure is never far away.”

Those who carry the Jeep spirit look beyond the obvious and see beauty in every landscape. The diverse selection of wonders appearing in the final line-up is a testament to the essence of exploration that lies at the heart of Jeep and the people who drive it.
