Doha, Qatar – December 17, 2025: As Qatar gears towards National Day celebrations, TOD marks the occasion by reaffirming its commitment to the Arab spirit and culture. To mark the special day, TOD is streaming Ode to Our Land, a documentary that celebrates Qatar’s journey and spirit. Directed by Qatari filmmakers, Amal Al Muftah and Rawda Al Thani, the film was backed by the National Museum of Qatar and produced by Doha Film Institute. Inspired by the vision of the Father Amir, the documentary traces Qatar’s rise from economic challenges to global leadership across multiple industries.
Notably, football remains a key part of Arab audience connection. Recent Arab Cup matches attracted strong regional interest, with the UAE recording the highest viewing minutes, followed by Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, and Qatar. Viewership peaked in each country when national teams were playing, underlining the strong emotional connection between Arab fans and their teams. The most-watched matches across the region was Jordan vs. Iraq, followed by Algeria vs. UAE, Palestine vs. Saudi Arabia, and Morocco vs. Syria.
Fans can now look forward to the Arab Cup final, taking place in Qatar at Lusail Stadium on 18 December 2025, kicking off at 19:00 Qatar Time (GMT+3), between Jordan and Morocco. The final will be available to stream for free on TOD, giving audiences across the region the opportunity to experience the culmination of the tournament live.
